FOXBORO — Phillip Dorsett is on the mend.
Dorsett participated in the opening drills of Patriots practice Thursday, an improvement from his non-participation Wednesday. Dorsett left the Pats' win at Philadelphia last weekend with a concussion. It does not appear the veteran wideout has been cleared for contact yet, but his progress Thursday was significant.
Fellow receiver Mohamed Sanu, who also sat out the Patriots' first practice of the week, returned Thursday. He appeared limited. Every other player was in attendance, including recent practice squad additions Quincy Adeboyejo and Tashawn Bower.
The Pats will release their next practice report late Thursday afternoon.
